Catholic School (2024-2025), watercolor on paper
Created as my undergraduate senior thesis, this series portrays flashes of memories and metaphors from my experience growing up in a Catholic school. Not only did this project allow me to explore the catharsis of grieving one’s faith; it also allowed me to ground myself in traditional media and learn how to complete traditional work in a more time efficient way.
The Secret History (2024), digital
This was a series created for my junior year thesis. Based on Donna Tartt’s novel of the same name, The Secret History is a set of seven images plus a cover that were bound into a book alongside excerpts from the original text.
Tour Guides’ Guide to the Neighborhood (2024), digital
This was a collaborative project created for the School of Visual Arts Office of Admissions. The pages, when folded, form a small zine informing the reader of local eateries and attractions. For this project, I was tasked with created passport stamps that reflected the college as well as landmarks in the area and put together the complementary color schemes that were used. I collaborated with illustrators Bea Stryjewski and Destiny Charles in order to bring this brochure to completion.
The Nightmare (2023), digital
This triptych was an assignment based on a nightmare I had experienced prior to drawing it. In completing this project, I learned quite a bit about color palettes, as well as composing images.
